First and only edition of a collection composed by Geogios Sakellarios based on diverse sources, mainly Moldenhaver’s work. This work refers to various historical and religious matters and to customs and manners of the Greeks over the ages. The publisher of the Archaeologia was Polyzoes Lamabantiziotes. Sakellarios (1765-1838) was born in Kozani and entered the scholarly circle of the Macedonians, members of which were M. Perdikares, G. Rousiades and A. Christopoulos.
